
I work at a pizza place. I'm a cashier...so, I'm on my feet and moving around quite a bit throughout my shift. That's the good part. The bad part is that I eat there....every day! We have a meal there at the end of our shift. Generally, I'll have a salad...with REAL fattening salad dressing. And I'll have some kind of pasta...spaghetti or lasagna or something. And a slice (or two or three) of pizza. I do stay within my points allowance...that food gets old. There's no variety and it bores me. It's also a VERY high point meal, generally.
I had chicken wings today, thinking it was a better choice....but, really it wasn't much better (point wise). They do have a salad bar. I think I'm just gonna start bringing something from home to eat at work and maybe make a vegie plate to go with it. I think I'll do better if I have several small meals and/or snacks throughout the day rather than using so many of my points for just one meal.
Planning, planning, planning! .... The sucky (yet successful) part of dieting. I need to PLAN my meals DAILY. I'd really like to lose the next 3.2 lbs. so I can get a new picture of myself posted on this blog so we can all see what a difference 20 lbs. makes.
