Today was a great success! This is a one-day-at-a-time process and I'm so proud of myself for having full control today. If you've been reading my recent posts, you know that I've been having a difficult time staying on program. Last week I only lost .2 lbs and I struggled so much. the entire week. There was just a lot of stuff going on with me mentally and I was battling a lot of emotions which were distracting me from my goals. Today...I eliminated obstacles by PRE-PLANNING. Last night, I sat down at my computer and listed everything I intended to eat today in my points tracker. That's right. I checked my schedule, checked the fridge and cupboards and went to work making a list itemizing what I would eat for each meal and snacks. And then....I got up today and STUCK TO THE LIST! I wasn't hungry at any point during the day because I had spread my points out pretty evenly throughout the day. I wasn't tempted at work with the entire buffet, because I had already figured portions and points and had decided (ahead of time) what I would eat. There were no "surprises" when I went (after eating) to document my points intake. I even got in ALL my Healthy Guidelines (except for the vitamin - cuz I haven't bought any yet). I feel so good about what I accomplished today! I feel successful!
