Job Stress Kept Me Off Track


Actually...It was "I" who kept me off track!  For the past 2 weeks I have been so off track from my plan.  I have been working a job that left me with unbearable pain in my feet for every day.  When I got home, after a 12 hr shift, all I wanted to do was grab whatever was "ready" to eat and get off my feet.  I took no time to plan or calculate or record anything I ate for dinner.  The food in the day was better controlled, but at night, I just lost my interest in preparing a healthy meal for myself that was within my points allowance.  Yesterday, I quit that job and tonight I'm going back to my old job at the pizza place.  Even though I've had this set-back with my weight loss, it's still very feasible that I can still make my goal of having 40 lbs off by my birthday in January.  I just need to have an average 2 lb/wk weight loss and I'll reach my goal.  I can do that!  This week, I expect I MAY gain, but maybe not.  All I can do is pick up from here and get back on track.  I'll concentrate on meal planning and drinking extra water and see what Friday's weigh-in brings.  I'm looking forward to Friday...to see where I am and to have a brand new week to do my best!
