Day 4 Of The Rest Of My Life

I'm doing this!  I'm right on track...drinking water...tracking what I eat....making decisions which leave me guilt free afterward.  I've got a glass of water here on my desk rather than soda.  Just ate the most delicious orange!  Forgot to leave fish outta the freezer so it will have to wait 'til tomorrow's meal but I had a pretty good grilled ham and cheese sandwich.  I just feel empowered/determined today.  I used some weeklies on Valentines Day candy...and even that was a conscious choice and I feel good about it.  I'm just excited.  I've lost nearly 30 lbs and, so far, have not changed clothing sizes.  However, I notice my clothes getting looser.  And I was looking in the mirror and my jeans are getting a bit baggy in the butt!  Ha!!!  My skin is looking so much better after just a couple of days and making sure I get plenty of water.  I was reading another blog (http://msbitchcakes.blogspot.com/2010/02/fitness-adventures-stairs.html) about walking the stairs.  I work in a small hotel (87 rooms - 4 floors) and I will start TODAY using the stairs SOME.  I don't know how much I can do...but I'm going to find out.  I won't actually have any time to actually use the stairs for a "workout" but I will attempt to use the stairs if I have something to tend to on any of the upper floors.  I'll be back tonight to tell you how it went.  I've got to incorporate some exercise into my plan.  I don't want to be all "flabby" thin or still out of shape when I get to goal.  I want to FEEL great!  Being healthy is gonna look great on my face!!!  Speaking of which...I gotta put on my face and get ready for work.  Happy Valentines Day!  Later Gators!

  3. I only climbed the stairs once today. 4 flights. Hurt my knees pretty badly, but didn't kill me! :) I'm gonna have to try something less strenuous on my knees though, 'til I get some more weight off.
